Memories of Macs in Saudi Arabia

Tonight was a lark through the history of my mac in Saudi Arabia. It all started when I decided to buy a PowerBook G4 from that place near where I bought Avicenna in Jeddah, City Centre.  To go to the shop and look in the window. About the time I bought my Mac they were just coming in with the iPhone GS like the iPhone I have today. I thought the last PowerBook G4.  Apple was just coming out with the Intel core duo macs. I didn't like them because I thought that the Intel chip was made in Israel.

I really wanted to buy one of those cute little white I books, I guess they were called. But they didn't have any left. I remember that man in the white gallabiyya from Lebanon who ran the shop.  I bought the PowerBook G four from him. Right away I noticed it doesn't work and I had to take it back. After looking at it a bit in the back room, he declared it was a bad apple. I had to send it to France to put in a whole new motherboard. Well today I put in some extra RAM but it wasn't the right chip.  I had ordered 2 giga byte memory chips from iFixit on the Internet and they came but I hadn't put it in until recently. This morning I tried to put it in and really, it didn't seem to work.  I managed to get the chip out and I took it to Internet shop to have them put in the memory properly. There at the Internet shop he found that it seems it was not the right specifications for the chip for the computer. What I need on that computer is 530 megahertz chip and this was a 670 MHz chip it would've been better for the Intel Macs the MacBook Pro Duo that just came out before I bought the last PowerBook G4 running Tiger and classic. Attached is a YouTube video I think it's YouTube showing a man putting in a RAM chip in a PowerBook G4.

By the way if you notice that this was sort of spoken English well it was. I spoke into the Mac start dictation
