Describing a place-KFUPM
King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals(KFUPM)
A Green Campus in the Desolate Saudi Desert
Describing the university structures and grounds: From the Main Gate, there is a magnificent view of the steep rocky cliffs of "the Jebal," or mountain, and of the thin tower, which is the symbol of KFUPM.
ARAMCO founded the university in 1963, when the area was a remote desert. It became a university in 1963, and now it is one of the best universities in the world.
